Building work has begun on the new facilities at the Willow Tree Centre. The foundations have been laid for the new maintenance block and the new training building is really beginning to take shape. At this stage we have raised enough money to construct the training building but not to fully equip it or to construct the maintenance block

It’s been a busy few months at the Willow Tree Centre with a number of work days and events taking place. In this bumper sized news update, we’ll bring you up to speed with all the latest developments at the Centre including the Puzzle Mania day, a report back from possibly our most successful ever Quiz Night, pictures from the recent workdays run by the staff from Coca Cola and Price Waterhouse Cooper.

Maintaining the 15 acre site at Willow Tree is a year round job. We couldn’t possibly cope if it weren’t for the band of volunteers who help us out.
Over the last few months, teams from Canon Europe UK and GlaxoSmithKline, left their Stockley Park offices to join us at Willow Tree and put in 300 hours of work on the site.

Our first ever Easter Egg Hunt in April was an exciting and successful day. We made the most of the lovely sunny weather with over 300 people taking part in the day.
Aside from the Egg Hunt itself, children took part in a range of activities including face painting, making Easter chicks and designing Easter bags.
