Brownies enjoying Willow Tree Centre

Since opening in 2000, the Willow Tree Centre has been a popular venue for Guide Groups and other youth organisations including Scouts, Police Cadets, Girls Brigade and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. Supported by Girlguiding Middlesex North West, the Centre attracts over 12,000 visitors every year, many of them from local units looking to enjoy the safe and secure facilities offered at Willow Tree.

The three large campsites all come with a wet weather barn, own water trap, toilet blocks and brick built BBQ. A purpose built camp fire circle is available to enjoy those best remembered memories of camp – the flickering flames, the glowing embers and the ever so slightly out of tune songs.

The main residential house offers a fully equipped kitchen and sleeping accommodation for 33 people including en suite facilities in the leaders rooms and there is car parking space for 50 cars and can accommodate coaches with an additional ‘Safety Zone’ for those arriving in minibuses.

A full range of activities are available at Willow Tree including archery, pioneering, low level challenge course, nightline and the assault course as well as games equipment for other outdoor sports including football, volleyball, rounders and basketball.

With electronic gates and CCTV, the Centre provides a safe and secure environment for groups to explore the 15 acres of private grounds and all of our facilities provide excellent access for those with physical needs.

Surrounded by more than 700 acres of ancient woodland, the Willow Tree Centre is the perfect base to explore the local countryside and take part in some of the local activities including sailing and kayaking at Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre, the beach and miniature railway at Ruislip Lido and the many beautiful walks through the woodlands and along the nearby Grand Union Canal.
